ENVIRONMENT
At Tiny Hearts Academy, we believe that our children deserve an environment that challenges them, guides them, and encourages them to explore their world in a manner that makes learning fun and builds their interpersonal skills. We are not just a school, we are a child-centered community that embraces diversity and a spirit of cooperation.
The first five years of a child’s life is the foundation of the person the child will become.
THA classrooms are purpose-built and offer thoughtful experiences for each child. Each classroom provides a bright, sanitary, and spacious setting, fully equipped for each age range. Outside play areas are designed with impact absorbing safety surfaces plus a wide range of interesting play equipment for everyone.
PROGRAMS
CURRICULUM
All children are natural learners who gain knowledge by actively doing and communicating. But we also know that education is not a one-size-fits-all experience. Programs at Tiny Hearts Academy embrace a number of educational philosophies from Montessori to Creative, and STEM. We recognize that each child is unique so every child is given the guidance, compassion, and support they need to learn at their own pace. Our carefully designed curriculum facilitates learning with a play-based approach customized for each classroom.
We view learning as a process that requires a balance between child-initiated and teacher-initiated activities with teachers serving as guides and educators. As a season unfolds, unique themes and challenges build lesson to lesson. We offer theme-based monthly units, learning activities, enrichment lessons and engaging lesson plans based on Colorado's Early Learning and Development Guidelines. This includes core academic subjects from reading, writing, foreign languages, to other components of creative learning such as arts and crafts, music, dramatic play, and physical activities. Programs are also "all-weather", children spend a lot of time outdoors.
Though it just feels like fun, our lessons are engineered to help kids develop a range of school readiness and lifelong-learning skills. We make learning a joy by inspiring wonder, leveraging brain science, and even sprinkling in some best practices in engineering.

Like most Coloradans, we love the outdoors. Our programs are designed "all-weather" which means children get to spend a lot of time outdoors. Though it just feels like fun, our lessons are engineered to help kids develop a range of school readiness and lifelong-learning skills. We make learning a joy by inspiring wonder, leveraging brain science, and even sprinkling in some engineering. Our kids also develop a host of important capabilities and core life skills shown below.
